Ye Tristan Plan
(or Ye agreement wherein the undersigned doth agree that all physical
faculties will be used for such occasions as do warrant the expedient
relief of all ills and bad tidings that might befall the proprietors
of the Inn of the Crimson Spade relating to a dearth of common
requisites, - namely those of water-bearing, portaging, and like
tasks, as well as defense at arms in time of great need - thus
proffering a surfeit of civility, chivalry and servitude upon those
named forthwith, and upon surmounting the afore mentioned charges
shall be plentifully rewarded with beast of the wild, fruit of the
earth, bread of the field and joy of the bottle to the fullness of
contentment or the brim of consciousness, whichever doth be more
harefooted in its arrival to the purveyor of aptitude such as meets
the requirements of this Plan as has been laid down by Tristan der
English in the presence of Almighty God as Witness, this day of the
Sixth in the month of March in the year A.S. 43)
Wishing to be bound in the service of Ye Tristan Plan, as laid forthwith, I do provide my sign below in the presence of a proprietor of the Inn of the Crimson Spade, who upon agreeing to accept the services of said provider, shall also make their sign below.
